Dodi Battaglia will present himself for the first time to the Perla’s audience as an independent musician. Apart from his successful career, Dodi is dedicated also to other activities. Recently, in his honour, an "epochal" event took place, as Dodi Battaglia refers to it. He has received so many awards and recognitions during 50 years of his career. But in Matera they did more than that. The conservatory "Egidio R. Duni" awarded him an honorary degree in "Electric Guitar - Department of New Languages and New Technologies". And this is a first for a pop musician.
