The Calypso Restaurant with 3 Gault & Millau Toques

With 16 points and 3 toques the Calypso ranks at place 11 in the Gault & Millau Slovenija restaurant guide for 2020, thereby breaking the stereotype that hotel restaurants lack boldness and passion, and that they don't have a soul. This in fact is the opinion of Gault & Millau itself. The Hit Company and its Calypso Restaurant play a leading role among hotel restaurants in Slovenia, meeting the expectations of even the most demanding domestic and foreign guests.

The Gault & Millau guide recommends visiting the Calypso, “because they take the concept of an all-inclusive experience seriously, and the professional and kind personnel take care of even the smallest details. The ingredients are real pearls, high-quality and fresh, so that the sea splashes into the plate. The restaurant offers incredible Mediterranean flavours and meat lovers will also find their heart’s desire.

The restaurant menu features some dishes that remain constant over the years, but otherwise it changes with the change of seasons. The guests usually like to be guided by skilled waiters under the leadership of Restaurant Manager Sebastjan Harej. The French-style service absolutely does not appear rigid.
