With this purpose the Hit Company and top Chef de Cuisine Emanuele Scarello, who owns the famous two-Michellin-starred Agli Amici restaurant in Godia near Udine, joined forces. Our goal is to encourage through the involvement of not only the personnel of both companies, but also their customers, culinary culture on a high level and a sustainable approach from the supply chain with a selection of local and seasonal ingredients to the commitment to diminish the use of plastic, the fight against waste of food, etc.
Cuisine represents in this case an extraordinary bridge between an upscale gourmet experience and the development of a sustainable lifestyle in order to take care of the local environment and offer the best promotion to local wine and gastronomy. In order to reinforce the link between gastronomy and the local environment we have started a series of connecting events: four-handed dinners in cooperation between two superb Chefs de Cuisine. The first event was held on Thursday, 21 March, at the Calypso Restaurant in the Nova Gorica-based Perla. The following events are held one per season.
The first goal is to enter 2021, when Slovenia is to become a European gastronomic region, with concrete results and from there on continue the set path bearing in mind that health always starts at the table; our health as well as the health of our planet.
